(Filmed earlier this year (2011) at a meeting of Beltway Atheists in Washington DC).

I watched this and it felt like there is such a mountain to climb in this debate between creation and evolution. There is so much data that addresses the scientific question. To see Sydney being overwhelmed by the whole subject matter, place her trust in Dawkins just seemed so tragic. When Dawkins boldly states evolution is a fact (3:02) and talks about many if not all, scientist believe in evolution with out even taking her through the scientific method and explaining when the evidence is supportive of one side or the other, is he himself being dishonest or just ignorant? Its very similar to a salesman only telling you about the good points of his product, while excluding major defects in it.

How would you educate students like Sydney Parks?
