I'd like to know how public school parents handle it when they child comes home discussing evolution. Give us your best advice.

Pro 22:6  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

“Give me the child until he is seven and I’ll give you the man”. St. Francis Xavier

This is a battle field for the mind of the children. The education system in both the UK and the USA has a very strong leaning towards telling the evolutionary history of the world without the need for God. I believe the real reason for the evolution is for the battle of the souls of men on a spiritual level. Its natural aim is not only to question whether God exist, but to destroy Him in our minds.

It has even come to the point that it is considered by some to be child abuse to tell your child to believe in God:

The Bible structure is based on the integrity of the family unit, which in turn extends to the wider community and to the nation.

I would say fight it all the way. Keep the issues before them, children are smarter than we often give them credit for and their minds have a great capacity for learning. They trust the words and teachings of adults, but they will remember if you get something wrong. I remember being about 13 or 14 years old being in an Religious Education (RE) lesson, when a stand-in replacement teacher told us that all the miracles that Jesus did were staged. This was religious education. At that age you have no defence, because you're also unprepared. In those days (1970s), there were no instant Internet access. Today that's not the case, the resources are plentiful and there is no reason not to be informed.

If you could organise with like minded people, then that might help. Its always nicer to share a burden.

The real question is "Why are kids in gov't schools?" We desire a certain lifestyle and that means both parents work all the time. The gov't looks at parents a breeders and the children belong to them, the experts, the wise and the caring. In an "Evolved" world the Highest Order, the Wisest Leaders and the Greatest Thinkers , base everything on Intellectual prowess of the academic elite.

The fact that the church goers have delegated their God-given responsibility, of training their children to the ruling elite, reinforces there claim to children, even in the minds of children. Many trust their teachers, before they trust their parents, so talking to them in any way that contradicts their school masters can be difficult. Especially b4 the age of 7... :)

That's more of a long term strategy. How do you deal with the immediate short term?

Ultimately, it is a matter of faith, more than reasoning of a rebellious mind... I appreciate what Henry Morris had started back in the 60's and would personally have benefitted from a 'church' that presented the real science... I grew up relating only to faith and called it 'blind faith', becuz there was no one in the 'church' to back up my faith... eventually the faith became superficial, because the 'science' was real...

In the short term: give your kids every bit of support they need to stand strong as a unashamed godly Christian... and get them out of California schools now... They will not survive indoctrination of sodom...
