I wanted to share my experience with Answers VBS.  I invite you to share you experiences as well.

This year at my small church (which my Dad pastors), we decided to do Vacation Bible School a little different.  Every year in the past, that I can remember, we've used Standard Publishing's VBS curriculum.  Since my family was the director this year, we got to choose what material we used.  We decided to go with Answers VBS, but didn't know exactly how it would go over at our church.  Thankfully, we had done a little ground work, so-to-speak, to prepare the hearts and minds of the congregation toward this creation science idea.

We were so impressed and awed by this year's VBS at our church!  For the past 2 or 3 years we've had less than 20 kids total for VBS, but this year we had over 30 kids each night!!  The curriculum was cram-packed full of Bible material, apologetics material and other fun stuff for kids that teach the lesson each night.  The kids loved the lesson time, as well as the crafts, snack and game times.

Last of all, since this curriculum was themed toward the value and sanctity of human life, we had as our mission Hope Resource Center of McKinney.  HRC is a totally Christ-centered crisis pregnancy center, serving the McKinney area.  We were able to raised almost $400 in support of HRC, and they were thrilled that we choose them as our mission!  They were also enthralled with the idea of a VBS themed toward the sanctity and value of human life, which is so rare now-a-days.

All I can say is, I recommend this Vacation Bible School curriculum wholeheartedly to every church in America!

My church has used the AiG program for at least the last two years also. Sadly, my kids are always on vacation when they have it and have not been able to attend. I hope next year that changes. Glad you thought it was worth it!
