Noah=23/38, Boat=23/38 - Simple6,74 English7,74 Gematria8,74

The Bible was written with Hebrew (& Aramaic) gematria and Greek isopsephy. They didn't have separate numerals then, their alphabet doubled as their numerals thus producing an alphanumeric code to scripture. Yet, Simple6,74 English7,74 Gematria8,74 using 'the key'74 of A=1, B2, C3...O15 or zero...Z26 is simpler and stronger than these ancient alphanumeric codes. For example...

Noah=23/38=N14+O(15)+A1+H8

boat=23/38=B2+O(15)+A1+T20

There's a whole lot more to this, but this is a good introduction.

Sound hermeneutical principal and normal meaning of words in the Hebrew Language - this is the way Jesus and Paul interpreted the Bible - and it is also the way Moses interpreted Genesis in his writings in the Book of Exodus and Deuteronomy. This is the way Nehemiah interpreted Genesis, and the way the Psalmists interpreted the rest of the OT. THEY NEVER EVER USED BIBLE CODES and Numerology.

I am inclined to believe that the moderators of this group would not approve of using Kabalistiic Gnosticism in our discussion of the topic of Creation.

Our view of the proper approach to biblical interpretation is found in our Statement of Faith:

  1. The account of origins presented in Genesis is a simple, but factual, presentation of actual events, and therefore provides a reliable framework for scientific research into the question of the origin and history of life, mankind, the Earth and the universe.
  2. The Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant throughout and its assertions are factually true in all the original autographs. It is the supreme authority in everything it teaches. Its authority is not limited to spiritual, religious or redemptive themes, but includes its assertions in such fields as history and science.

The Bible means what it says in the simple straightforward sense - - not in an alphanumeric code. It is a heretical approach to biblical interpretation.

Jim Brenneman,

I AM thee Bible expert. Obviously, you don't know what you're talking about. The Hebrew/Aramaic Old Testament and Greek 'New' Testament were written before the Hindu-Arabic Numerals began to appear in the 7th century. The Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek alphabets doubled as their numerals. Google: Hebrew gematria. Greek isopspehy. The Bible was originally written in alphanumeric code - numerology is something else.

Do some homework before you act like you know what you're talking about. 9,4,9,15,20.

In this group we do not use alphanumeric code as a basis for interpretation of Scripture.

Brad, this site's statement of faith is clear. I understand you have a different view of Scripture and its origin and I respect that, however, making a claim that your Bible expertise are far above those here is a reflection that you may not be looking to reason together (Isa 1:19) in truth and spirit, rather post statements that are contrary with site rules and stir debate.

We welcome healthy debate, however, we do require a level of respect to other members regardless of pedigrees, academic qualifications and experiences. We are all Brothers and Sisters in Christ, sinners saved by His grace and thus are equal in His eyes as such we should view one another in the same respect. If you have questions you are welcome to message me for more details. This particular topic and discussion thread is closed.
