Kate,

Thanks for mentioning Stuart Townend. I visited his site and looked around to see what he had to say about creation. I search his site and blog for Adam, Eve, and Six Days just to see if he had written or blogged anything specific about his beliefs in Gen 1-11. There was nothing there.

 

I'm not saying he doesn't believe in the creation account, but there is no information there that says he does. As you know, there are many who try to compromise on Adam and Eve. He may sing awesome and very spiritual music, but he has not been clear on the Fall.

 

I was very glad to see he is firm in his view of penal substitution.

Check out Stuart Townend. He's a British songwriter. You may have heard a couple of his songs that are popular in the States: How Deep the Father's Love for Us and In Christ Alone. Here are some to look for:

The theme of creation runs in a ot of Townend's songs. Check his website. He has a book of his songs out. Good stuff!
