Chronicles of Dinosauria

Explore legends, mythical sightings, and intriguing explorations from around the globe!

  • Enjoy the unique combination of visual illustrations and unforgettable accounts.
  • Discover why the author calls into question what we've been taught to believe and understand about the history of dinosaurs and man.

Every legend is said to include some grain of truth, and for years co-author Dave Woetzel has sought to separate fact from fiction as he explores mysteries related to dinosaurs, mankind's history, and the biblical time-line. Teaming with artist and designer Richard Dobbs, the two have created a visual archive of expeditions and intriguing clues to explore, all of which highlight the connection to the authority and reliability of Scripture.

Provocative artifacts from around the world are examined in an exquisite, full-color book that hints at man's familiarity with living dinosaurs. Studies point to more than simple answers beneath the waves of Loch Ness, and other sites around the world, many investigated personally by the author.

New Leaf Publishing Group is thankful for your partnership in spreading the gospel of Jesus, and the powerful truths of our Bible to the world in this way.

4 days to a Forever Marriage is my second review for New Leaf Press. New Leaf Press sent me a complimentary copy of 4 Days to a Forever Marriage in exchange for this review. The review was not otherwise paid for or endorsed.

I've been a fan of Gary Smalley for many years. I first read his marriage books before I was even dating as a way to prepare myself for the tumultuous and exciting years to come. Smalley's work is to-the-point and blunt, but in a very gentle, very understanding way. While some authors might make their readers feel judged or unworthy, Smalley doesn't do that. His writing makes you feel understood, not bashed on. Even though someone reading 4 Days to a Forever Marriage, the book isn't designed to make people feel bad about their relationships: it's designed to bring couples closer together and to build a deeper, more positive relationship.

4 Days to a Forever Marriage is designed to be shared by a husband and wife. Each chapter is divided into a "For the Husband" and "For the Wife" section. Personally, I read the book by myself and felt that I learned some new things from both sections, even the ones designed for husbands. The book has verses throughout each chapter that relate to what the Smalleys are teaching and sharing, and there is a brief devotional section at the end of each book.

If you're newly married, having problems, or simply want to learn something new about how to improve your relationship, I would recommend giving this book a try. It's an easy read and a fairly short book overall. The chapters are short and concise. While there are personal stories and examples throughout the book, they're brief and complement the rest of the chapters perfectly so as not to overwhelm the readers.

Here is my review of "Some Fruits of Solitude" by William Penn on my blog. http://home-sweet-life.blogspot.com/p/book-reviews.html It will also be posted on Amazon and hopefully CBD soon! I enjoyed finding some solitude to read this deep -thinking book and having time to reflect upon it. Penn found a way with few words to say so much!
