I have written a book about the truth entitled "All the Secrets of the Universe (All the ones worth knowing): A College Course on the Truth."  It is 740 pgs and has 1400 references from God's Word and 1370 references from other authors, journalists, political commentators, Christian pastors and teachers, and leading scientists to support the conclusions of each of the 14 chapters.  In it we are interested in finding the real answers to all of life's most important, elusive and controversial of questions: answers not based on opinion, faith, speculation, theory or belief, but on all of the facts and all of the evidence both scientifically and historically.  Chapter 10 is titled "The Theory of Evolution is a Joke."  It is 100 pages in itself and contains 17 separate sections from Macro vs Micro Evolution to The Fossil Record, The Young Earth and The Big Bang, All Blown Up and contains 270 quotes/references/sometimes whole paragraphs or whole pages from some of the world's leading scientists on this subject, all or most of whom I'm sure most of you are already familiar with.  I'm in the process now (the book was finally completed on Christmas Eve- 12/24/2011- after a number of years of research and writing) of looking for a publisher and obtaining permission from the many authors whose works I reference.  If anyone is interested in checking out a copy of chapter 10, or the entire work, let me know.

Hi Group!

We are excited to announce our new Children's Book Series called Creation Kids Club. This book is beautifully illustrated and written in a way that teaches children about creation and Creator God by incorporating creative activities that go along with the subject matter.

We are seeking reviewers of the first book of the series. If you are wanting to just add another book to your shelf, please do not respond; but if you are serious, and especially if you have children, then we want to give you a free bookto review.

If you are interested, please email our Social Media Manager, sgagne@creationtoday.org, with you name, shipping address, phone number, email, and ages of children in your home.

Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you!

In response to Carolyn Reeves below:

There aren't a lot of hard facts available

That is the fun of it all for us. We believe that there are "hard fact" available in abundance. Dr. Whitcomb has an excellent book called, The World that Perished, which demonstrates the hard facts from what is observed in nature in conjunction with the best grammatical analysis of the Hebrew text. We put those elements together and reach some pretty solid ideas of what that world must have been like.

I have just recently become interested in speculating about the pre-Flood world. There aren't a lot of hard facts available, but the few clues that exist are very fascinating.  I know how rapidly scientific and technological knowledge has occurred in the past few hundred years.  The first motorized plane ride was in the early 1900s. Less than 70 years later, rockets were taking men to the moon and back.  Just imagine how much knowledge could be accumulated by individuals who lived hundred of years and could devote that much time to doing research.  The survivors of the Flood would not be able to pass on all the knowledge that had been discovered by pre-Flood cultures, but they would have been able to salvage some of it.  The very early civilizations after the Flood seemed to spring up in a short period of time.  They had an amazing ability to build complex buildings and structures, based on advanced engineering principles. Even if there is a lot of speculation about this period of history, fictional books could provide logical accounts of pre-Flood life and the continuance of some of their knowledge during the Ice Age that followed. I'll be watching with interest to see what kinds of books your guys are writing.

Hello Allan,

I don't know that I would be of much help to you. I would offer that religion began as monotheism and then deteriorated into polytheism and pantheism and then to atheism.

I am a new writer. I have one novel and one non-fiction story about the Australian girl of German origin who was illigally detained and who polareised the Australian public. Now I am planning to write a short book 'The Rligion Pyramid' describing evolution of belief from, natural forces, inanimate objects to pantheism to animate polytheism and monotheism. However like a single atom or a living cell; monotheism is further magnified in Christianity into

Trinity very much like proton, neutron and electron. I wish to invite comments on my proposed idea.

I have added a new discussion on a template for the world before the Flood.

Hi Jim!  I would enjoy exchanging views about what the world before the flood of Noah was like. That was a vast period of history, and there is room for as many stories as people would like to tell. Let me start with this observation: The curse upon the ground was 'progressive', not instantaneous. What do you think?

Jim Brenneman Comment by Jim Brenneman on January 18, 2012 at 10:38pm

I have written about 100,000 words of a story about the Flood. It is of juvenile interest, since the three sons of Noah were born AFTER he had been warned about the Flood. In effect they were adolescents since they must have been married shortly before entering the Ark and they had no children till AFTER the Flood. The Worlds of Star Wars and Star Trek and AVATAR are nothing compared to the real world that was "The World of the Flood." I think there should be a consensus among those of us who are biblical creationists about lots of elements of that wonderful world.

I have an eerie feeling I may have hijacked someone else’s conversation thread. If so, I am very sorry. I am new here and a bit of a ‘tech-tard’.
