The book of Genesis leave out a great deal of information. For example it hints to a race of giants that walked the earth but gives little detail about them or how they came into existence. I have asked many ministers about this subject and they all hint that the giants were the offspring of Angels and humans. These ministers also say that is also the reason for the flood in Noah's time. Angels were sent to the earth to teach and guide humans and fell into sin having relations with women and they bore the race of giants. Now Genesis does not talk much about this. Does anybody have any additional knowledge or thoughts on this subject?

The only place in Genesis that you will find much of this teaching is in Genesis 6, which you are correct, it gives us very little information. But there is the Book of Enoch which is full of Angelic lore specifically about the Watchers and how they came down from Heaven to have relations with women. Depending on what other knowledge you desire about the subject from these two books you can branch off in many different ways. What were the days of Noah like? Why were they different than any other time period in history? Why would Jesus say when he is to return that it would be like the days of Noah? Why was it sinful for Angels and Women to mate in the first place? Is there any other views that support something different than Giants from Angels in Genesis 6? There are so many places you can go from this topic it could make your head spin. So what else would you like to know, I would love to chat with you about this subject. You could also join the Morning Star page which has alot to do with angels as well.
This is an interesting topic, as contemplating what the pre-flood world might have been like is interesting to me as well. Specificly to the O.P. though, I was actually researching a little on this the other day, and I found a pretty good article that seems to hit on several of the major views about these "Nephilim," including their strengths and weaknesses. http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/aid/v2/n1/who-were-the-nep...
Jason R. Jones;

I want to ask if there are any other views that support something different than Giants from Angels in Genesis. Can you shed some light on this?
Kaitlin - I'm not Jason, but the link I posted above talks about a couple other views different from "Giants from Angels."

Hope that helps with your question.
I have many thoughts on this subject. I see little reason to believe that the gants were the direct offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men." The "mighty men which were of old, men of renown," were certainly the children of the sons of God, but not necessarily the giants.

I don't believe the sons of God are angels (in the modern sense of the word). Adam is called the son of God. I am an adopted son of God, and am even supposed to be an "angel" (messenger). If I married a non-Christian, she could be described as a daughter of the devil, or, to be more nice, a daughter of men (not God). It could be that through the Godly influence of one parent the children of such a marriage would become "men of renown."

This intermarrying between God's children and the world, which was later forbidden in the book of 2 Corinthians, so upset God that he scheduled a world-wide flood to annihilate all but eight humans in a mere 120 years, less than a quarter of the average lifespan.

I won't debate the possibility of humans (the descendants of Adam and Eve) marrying "angels" (superhuman heavenly beings). I just think people should steer farther away from the farthest fetched interpretations of Scripture. The more plain interpretation provides a good moral lesson, so that is what I believe. After all, the other interpretation's lesson would have to be something like "don't marry angels; they aren't perfect either."
