This is a classic example of adaption within a kind, not evolution in action.  Agriculture provide a host of such examples, from weeds resistant to herbicides to invertebrates resistant to pesticide.  The world and its media try to use resistance to prove their theories, but they provide us an excellent opportunity to strengthen the faith of our fellow farmers.  All we need are answers.
