Find That Quote!

Creationists make frequent use of quotes to point out the flaws & problems with evolution. To be as accurate as possible, consider "Find That Quote!" as a way to improve & verify accuracy of quotes we use. If you're unsure of a quote, post it!

General guidelines for quoting

1.) If at all possible, only use a quote if you have the actual source or a copy.
2.) The Internet is not a good source for quotes. (I'll explain exceptions later.)
3.) Even printed books have incorrect quotes, sources, etc. Trust but verify!
4.) If in doubt, don't use it!

The former Dr. Henry M. Morris' book, That Their Words May Be Used Against Them, is an excellent source of many of the quotes commonly used by creationists.

Over time, I'll add some additional ideas and 'gotchas' when trying to verify a quote, including some tips on researching through the Internet to verify the source and accuracy of a quote...
