Breaking Pharoah\Unhealthy Philosophical skeptism self defeating/ Questions/ their 'science' 1 Reply

Ok here is a thesis statement I struggle with.  I try to see things from the skeptics point of view, so then I see their reasoning without absolute truth, prime reality, or uniformity of nature…Continue

Seems like lots of skeptics don't want to be categorized as "skeptics," even though they do not accept certain things as knowable biblical truth. They are not sure about the global extent of the Flood, but then they get all offended when this "uncertainty" is identified as skepticism.

Found this article. Me and a friend have kinda been refuting a couple of the arguments the author brought up(him more so), so, if you're interested:

Progressives will always try to pretend that the 2nd Amendment was written in the context of hunting when it has nothing to do with that but rather with the fact that an armed populace is a safeguard for liberty against a tyrannical govt. such as that experienced by our country's founders. Obama's skeet shooting can look pro-hunting and thus pro-2nd Amendment when that is the opposite of his worldview.

I think it's ironic that I saw a picture of OBAMA out skeet shooting. I wonder if that's a way to just act as if he has the NRA's best interest?

you're right, politicians just want to appear as if they are doing something to fix the problem - whether it actually makes sense is irrelevant. That's the core problem with govt. controlling our lives - they are only out for themselves. Most of them have never even fired a gun and wouldn't know one end from the other.

Just saw this article about gun-control. Shows the lack of logic and the "shoot first ask questions later" Policies in our government(excuse the pun ;p)
