"Coal has been produced in labs. Do you know a citation of man-made coal that has been burned (demonstrating that it is essentially the same as mined coal)?  I know man-made oil has been used, even as jet fuel powering US military helicopters. Thanks."

"Hi, I've shared your website with many others in my contacts, and I've tweeted about it. Hope that it blesses your site. Thanks for being here and ready to help us!

I do have a question. I am tweeting with some people, and someone presented an article, http://rationalresponses.blogspot.com/2014/08/does-hebrew-word-chuw..., about the bible translations translating that the Earth is a sphere are bad translations because the word in Hebrew really basically only means something flat, more along the lines of a coin or a disk, especially given the contexts of each time the word is used in Scripture. I'm searching for a scholarly article to refute this that I can cite in response and any feedback that anyone can offer.  Thank you!"

You know, I was just watching some videos on some tsunamis and it occurred to me. We mostly excavate dry land. But I just watched as the tsunamis pulled everything back out to sea. I wonder what we would find if we were able to excavate beneath the ocean floor. If there was some way to do that. I wouldn't be surprised if there are countless dinosaurs in the same graves as humans - assuming of course we could hypothetically prevent sea water from entering where we are digging, and that we dig down deep enough to reach dry Earth.

It's one thing for them to be deposited about on the surface of the Earth here and there at different levels, but when washed out to sea, there's lot a whole lot of control where their bodies' final resting places would be.

Is there any feedback that anyone would have to offer about such as this? I'm kinda familiar with much of the information out there regarding the flood; but I don't remember ever hearing about what we might find were we able to look deep down beneath the ocean floor. Thank you.

Hello. So I've been discussing with a friend's brother about the existence of God, and we have primarily been discussing Creation and Evolution. One of the links I recently sent him was http://www.icr.org/article/physics-challenge-geological-time. I'm not sure whether he actually read it or whether he read enough to see Kelvin's name and respond, but his reply was this:

"I appreciate your effort in attempting to prove your point  by way of Lord Kelvin's scientific findings. However, as much as "creationists" want to prove their belief  in a much younger age based on Lord Kelvin findings, they can't, and they won't be able to. Let me tell you why:
a) carbon dating did not exist during Lord Kelvin's lifetime. Carbon dating being the method used to the age of fossils.  However, I suspect this is not enough to convince you, I thereby feel obligated to give you more irrefutable evidence as to why Lord Kelvin, an otherwise brilliant physicist, was wrong, and  has been proven so because he was attempting to determined the age of the earth by  calculating how long it takes for the earth to cool
His experiment was based on the belief of the era that the original formation of the earth was begun  as an sphere of 'hot liquid' and that bits of material at the surface would sink and then solidifying creating convection current that kept the earth at a uniform temperature until solidification began at the core.
Granted, had the earth  been a giant ball of water floating in space before it solidified he probably could have been right.  But the earth didn't have its beginning as a giant drop of liquid. And that is a scientific fact."

While I can usually hold my own in a discussion such as we've been having, I'm not familiar with what he has written back. I've googled it, but I can't make any heads or tails of what I'm finding - much of it too technical for me. Can anyone help me out here?
