Why do you choose to be an atheist?

I have come to believe that atheism is a choice and not a deterministic result of following science or going "where the evidence leads." So, for the atheists or agnostics perusing this forum, why…Continue

The five senses reveal scientific evidence for God's existence

Posted on June 15, 2012 at 1:00pm 2 Comments

Atheists often claim to not believe in God because they have no physical evidence of Him. The scientific method is the only proper way to personally demonstrate to an atheist the physical evidence for God's existence. The steps in the scientific method are as follows:

1. Define the question/formulate the…

I live at 101st and Sheridan, so a few miles west of  Brokan Arrow.  In what graduate program are you studying?  I noticed way back in July 2010 you asked question about consistency of radioactive dating methods, or wether it was a myth.  My graduate program was in geochemistry,  can offer some friendly clarification.  Ken

Why? The answer I gave at the end of my comment was that
I wanted to remind myself and others that the purpose of such a forum as this is to seek the truth and that in doing so we need to work together in unity. It is simply a statement of the foundation rules that I attempt to follow. It would be meaningless to do anything but seek the truth and we will glorify the Lord in our unity. Thanks for agreeing with me. -:)

Hi Alexander,
Working together in unity we can uplift each other and work together to reach the world with the truth, the Gospel of Christ.

A good starting place is John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." The world of course asks "What is truth?" (John 18:38) The answer is given in John 17:17 "... Your word is truth"

Concerning unity Jesus says in John 17:21 "... that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."

I say the above to remind myself that as Christians we start with a recognition of the authority of the Scriptures and that we as brothers and sisters in Christ work together in unity that the world might believe and accept the Truth.

If you liked that presentation, you should check out my weekly radio program, Sagadii Radio. It's completely free in mp3 download format. The website is on my profile.
