Carl Werner updated an eventHey Carl.....
In online discussion with a guy who said "Find me a rabbit fossil inside a T-Rex fossil and I'll reject evolution.
I told him that your video talked about a rabbit fossil in the same strata as dinos. He wants more info..... can you give me the details of that one? Where it was found, etc.
I've got this guy cornered. It will be interesting to see when the ad hominems start.
Blessings.....

Hi Dr. Werner...
Gary Bates and Michael Oard of Creation Ministries International are looking for a place to speak in the St. Louis area on Sunday night July 17th. Short notice, I realize. Do you know of a church, school or organization that would be willing to host them?

Lou Hamby said… Dr. Werner, I give this question to one of the other scientists on this site, and he said it needed to be answered by a biologist.
I am a creationist, and I also believe the bible is a historical document as well and reliable and dependable. However, with in the pale of creationism, I have a question. Can you or anyone else explain to me how the animals that came off the ARK, migrated to islands and nations -- many as you know, have symbiotic relationships with plants or insects or other animals. Many like salamanders or frogs have certain eco requirements. My own understanding of biology and the animal kingdom makes me think it was indeed not a world wide flood? I know this may go against the grain, but there other bible verses that makes me think it was local when Noahs family were taking off to other cities within their own genrations just a few chapters after they are off the ARK? IF the whole world was destroyed how do they travel to these cities? It seems the animal distribution as they were created and set in place is static since creation by almighty God. We know there have been cataclysms and floods through out history, I also struggle with the explanation that the ARK had enough room for "all" the animals in the known extent kingdom of animals. I hope people will take my question seriously, I am a born again Christian for over 30 years. I know there are different views on the flood. I just have a hard time with these issues, given what I do know about the animal kingdom, scripture, and the models that are used for these discussions . Could you at all shed some light on this. I am saying the historical record of the ARK as stated in the bible I totally believe happened, but the interpretation of those scriptures in the light of the current distribution within the animal kingdom I have always had a question... and do? So I have had the position of a local flood and not world wide?
