I strive to use my talents for the Lord Jesus, enjoying the life and path that he has set before me. I see beauty in all of creation put before us by the master artist. Photography is just a way to capture the beauty.
My job as an art director for Christian publisher New Leaf Publishing Group, has been a challenge and a joy to serve. I have been blessed with many opportunities in the design world, but I most blessed to use my talents in kingdom business.
I have been interested in photography for many years. My Dad had Nikons and many other cameras around all my life. Although I learned some darkroom work, I really enjoy digital photography. I am a graphic designer by trade and photoshop is a daily tool. Always learning and expanding--you never know it all in photoshop, it is endless. Digital photography gives the freedom to take tons of pictures and instantly review and manipulate.

This is my second year that I have challenged myself to take a picture everyday. I accomplished it in 2009. There were day's when it was last minute picture, but for the most part I tried to stretch myself and take a picture worth viewing. I was very surprised in how much my photography skills have grown by taking on the challenge.…
