Invited and interesting in learning more about creation.
When I was born, I only weighed 4 lbs. My Mom had somehow contracted a blood virus while carrying me. The virus affected all my blood organs. The doctors told my parents that they did not expect me to live long enough to get out of the hospital.
They said if I did live, I wouldn't be very tall, have the mental capacity of a two yr. old (never graduate from HS), and would not live past the age of 11 or 12. I'm 48 yrs. old, graduated in 1988, and am about 5 feet 8 inches. Not short one bit!
I was born deaf in my right ear and blind in my right eye.
When I was in my teens, I started losing my hearing in my left ear. The doctors told me it was nerve deafness and that there was nothing they could do for it except give me medication to keep it from getting worse and wear a hearing aid. In 1986 (A year after receiving the Holy Ghost), I was at church camp and felt led to go pray. God
spoke to me like he was standing right there. He said, "You take your hearing
aid out and you never wear it again." I did and God healed me!
Fifteen years ago (February 2002), I started losing my hearing in my left ear again. They believe this time that it is a blood clot pushing on a nerve.
Please pray for me that God would restore my hearing. I'm not good at reading lips, so it is very difficult to communicate and to get my soul fed from the teaching and preaching of the word.
Thank you.

Update on my hearing:
In the fall of 2016, I found out that I did not have a blood clot pushing on a nerve after all. My cochlea has gone bad. I am thinking about getting a cochlea implant. Please pray for me. Thank you.

I'm fine. The museum is in northern Kentucky not far from Cincinati, OH. I would think the Springtime (when it warms up) is probably the best time to go because they have a nice garden area and some animals outside.

Hello Mr. Collins, I hope you're doing well. I noticed you live in OH; is that close to the Creation Museum? Have you been there? My family went there about two years ago.
