Profile Information

Are you a church leader? If so, please tell us if you are a pastor, deacon/elder, or work with youth, adults, etc.
Work in Curriculum Development. I love to do talks about creation in the role of either Noah or Shem. I think the picture is me as Shem in Guatemala...
Do you homeschool or send your children to a private Christian school?
No
Do you have your own blog, website, or ministry? If so, please share it with us.
no
Are you a student/teacher/professor? High School or College?
Always a student, but not in any school
Do you believe in the literal translation of Genesis?
Huh? The Bible should be translated in the sense of meaning intended by authors. This is an odd question. I believe the Bible is inspired and inerrant in all that it affirms. Parts of it are figurative and symbolic, not to be taken "literally." I have translated chapters 1 - 3 word by word ELEVEN TIMES. The message remains the same: Everything that exists (other than God), all things were brought into existence in JUST SIX days of Creation about Six Thousand years ago. I am not a YE creationist but I am a Six Day/6K creationist.
Describe your interest in joining the community
I am interested in conversing with people who believe in a recent (about 6000 years ago) creation in SIX DAYS OF ALL THINGS, visible and invisible. I want to converse with people who believe that science is subservient to Scripture

It would be a good exercise to make a list of all these.

Then there are many declarations of the psalmist's attitudes toward the Word of God, his commitments to it, his desires and longings for it. And then…

Are We Alone?

People of the earth seem to be so lonely and so full of angst about whether or not there is anyone else “out there.” Why did God create humans in the middle of a vast universe that seems to be empty? Why did God create humans with this God-sized void in our hearts?

What we you think of when the idea of God comes up? And then there are describers like: Surpassing, breath-taking, tremendous, fearful, amazing, exquisite, overwhelming, beyond imagination, unfathomable, inscrutable, exceptional, transcendent,…
