John Vasen replied to Kaitlin's discussion 'TV Show Bones Belittling Creationists'
"I do not wish to defend the TV show bones, but only supply a context.  Bones is a textbook evolutionist and naturalist. I'm not even sure real-life evolutionists are as pure as she is. She talks the same way about religion and here she…"

Steven Posey commented on John Vasen's blog post 'Psalm 19:1'
"This is one of my favorite Psalms as well. It is apparent from this scripture as others in the Psalms like 24:2, 89:11, etc (and of course Genesis) that the Lord's work is orderly, not chaotic. He did not "throw everything…"

Psalm 19:1

While doing research on the subject of creation recently, I have meditated on this beautiful verse."The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands."So I have been thinking about this hypothetical question:How much glory would God receive for starting the Big Bang? (Please this is not a debate about the science or interpretation of Genesis 1.)To me it is so much more wonderful that God said "Let there be lights in the heavens and ..." which produced everything…See More

While doing research on the subject of creation recently, I have meditated on this beautiful verse.

"The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands."

So I have been thinking about this hypothetical question:

How much glory would God receive for starting the Big Bang? (Please this is not a debate about the science or interpretation of Genesis 1.)

To me it is so much more wonderful that God said "Let there be lights in the heavens and…

Hello John - Not sure How long you have been here at Creation Conversations, but I want to wish you a big Welcome.  Perhaps we know each other from oour days at Illinois? - in any case, you are close to Carol Stream Illinois, where Midwest Creation Fellowship has monthly meetings.  Check them out at http://midwestcreationfellowship.org/pages/ev-current/events.php    I am a member and hove spoken there 3 times.  They do a good job listing events in the Chicago area, as well out here in Davenport, IA.   Blessings to you!
