Divine Hiddenness

I'm interested in getting some different Christian perspectives on the problem of divine hiddenness, because it has a lot of theological implications that can make it (in my opinion) more interesting…Continue

We have been practicing some apologetics in my Bible study, and there has been a request to start dealing with some of the toughest apologetic challenges to the Christian faith. Now, there is of…Continue

"I agree with the quoted part, and I'm glad you said this. It seems common for Christians nowadays to believe in the rapture, the tribulation, and to be futurists and premillennialists, and the primary debate is just the timing of the rapture…"

We can save this debate for another time, because now i am ticked off about our government. They allow and protect the murder of unborn children, and we sit by and do nothing. Every moment we do nothing another one is killed and i am sick of doing nothing. Protests don't work, government only respects action.

I don't think i need to find any passages that oppose freedom of religion because there are no verses that promote freedom of religion. I don't believe Jesus would want freedom of religion because he said He was the only way to the Father. All ohter religions are false and were created by Satan to mislead people. Why would Jesus want us to allow them to continue misleading people? Our duty is to demolish strongholds, not allow them to be built. Jesus preached love of your neighbor, not tolerance of false religions.

Good, i was worried that i was making you angry. I heard people say " Should let government enforce religion?" and my answer is yes. Some might bring up that Jesus said " Give to Ceaser what is Ceasers, and to God what is God's" and that he means seperation of church and state. I don't think thats what he meant because rulers are supposed to be good and punish evil. Christianity is the only true religion, all ohters of are the devil.

I'm not advocating forcing people to be Christian, but that we do not allow them to worship their false idols in our land. The goal of Christians is to spread the Gospel, and to demolish false religions. This modern idea of "freedom of religion" isn't biblical. Understand that i am not trying to make you angry, just trying to make you see my point.

No, Jesus didn't force people to believe in him, but he did call out false teachers. If we allow freedom of religion then we are allowing Satan to mislead more people. You can be a non-christian but you sure as hell ain't gonna build temples to your false idols in my country.

I understand, and i used to believe we could have freedom of religion. You don't want to enforce your religion on ohters, but my question is it wrong to enforce the truth?

Alot of Christians are putting the Constitution above Scripture. They want to keep freedom of religion but to have this you have to believe all religions are just as valid which isn't true. I don't mind having non-believers but i sure as hell won't allow them to build temples to their false gods.
