I just got done reading an AiG Research Journal article that I found very interesting.  I encourage all who wish to participate in this discussion to read it.   It was written by a layperson who, by…Continue

Garden of Eden and it's location

A prevalent theory has always been that the Garden of Eden was in Mesopotamia near the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.   After having read Vol I of Dr. Andrew Snelling's "Earth's Catastrophic Past", I…Continue

There are also quite a few cases involving professors and tenure issues even if they mention intelligent design.  Not even creationism.   Here's one from 2008:   http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=75620   "The Reiss case was…

Nice find Rich.  Just the fact that the school settled for that amount of money indicates they probably realize they were discriminating and might have lost this in court.

I like the website for the most part but I do wish they would organize the forum section into a more reader friendly traditional message board.  One with definitive categories and that is easier to keep track of the posts, give post counts,…

Justin Poe replied to Rich Wendling's discussion 'What is AiG?'
I can honestly say that my faith was renewed and my want to learn more about Scripture was due to my first visit to the Creation Museum.  It was over a year ago and since then my family (wife and four kids, fifth on the way) bought a 5 year…

Great post Rich.  Spot on.  I would add that it seems that most of this compromise comes in the name of "intellectualism" or in simpler terms, "acceptability".  The need for the "church" and it's…

Join the discussion about this novel dealing with the origin of modern geological theory. Was there a conspiracy against Christianity that paved the way for old-earth geology and Darwinism?

Anybody know of any other place I can write a review of the book for?  I just finished it.  Really good book and I can't write a review at Amazon cause I've never made a purchase there.  I'd love to write a review but…

David, you completely distorted what Ron said. Buying a telescope and looking at the stars is OBSERVATIONAL science, not HISTORICAL science. Sure, we can look at a star, send a probe up there, get the results of it's composition, location,…

I haven't looked at the list that was posted yet but I can assure you that Cedarville University just about 35 miles outside of Dayton, OH holds to a literal 6 day creation. Ken Ham and AIG speak there at least once a year.

Rich Wendling replied to Justin Poe's discussion 'Garden of Eden and it's location'
I agree that it is unlikely that the location of Eden exists today. The flood of Noah would have obliterated any trace of it. Any attempt to place Eden at any modern location is mere speculation.

I just read Joel Klenck's The Region of Eden and the Gardens of God. It was certainly thought provoking. His book provided sound arguments why Eden could not be in Israel. 1. Ezekiel 36:35 says the land of the future Messiah will be like Eden…

Funny thing is, it wasn't considered ludicrous at all up until the last 200 years or less....just about every significant scientist for ages (Bacon, Newton, Linnaeus, Steno, Ure, Kirby, just to name a small sample) were Christians and many…
