"They may well be authentic, but we NEED unassailable documentation.  I hope they are real, but I cannot point to documentation that takes into account what critics say and how to counter that criticism.   There is SOOO much more…"

"Nice to see you hanging out here Allen Roy Boy.Just seems to me though that some of the prints are somewhat unassailable as authentic, but of course we don't need them to believe the Bible to be true."

"The problem with human and dino footprints is that they have not been properly documented.  there are many claims, but no documentation.  And those who make the claim refuse to document their claims.  We really need people to document…"

"I discovered while studying paleontology at Montana State that most dino fossils are permineralized.  What that means is that rock minerals fill in the holes in the dinosaur bone.  so you end up with real bone filled up with rock…"

"This is a long thread, but interesting discussion. Looking at the question in the title I think the conundrum can be summarized like this... The term "Young Earth Creationist" is more precise, but "Biblical Creationist" is more…"

Rut Woods-Marks replied to Lance Ponder's discussion 'Creative Science 19 - Fossilization' in the group Young Earth Creationists
"Looking at the fossils myself helped seal the flood model for me.  The old earth model doesn't make any sense in the face of fossil evidence.  I have read about other instanced where the tracks all run in one direction--fleeing…"

"That's incredible. I never knew that about the tracks all going one way. Where I live a popular fossil bed is the Falls of the Ohio. There's lots of fossil fish. I can't imagine any way to fossilize a fish without dumping a hug amount…"

"I been to Colorado and looked at the fossils there.  I even looked at the casts made of dinosaur tracks.  In some places I could even see the inpressions left by rain drops!  The slab of dirt had to be buried rapidly to preserve that…"

"Actually the title of the book is The Deluge Story in Stone (Byron C. Nelson - 1931) and my copy had a sub-title: "The Stones Cry Out!" It has a great chart on flood legends from various cultures around the world which AiG quotes."
