Bad news on the book. The church doesn't have a copy. So sorry. I thought we'd gotten one for the library but it must have been on my wish list to add to the collection a few years ago and I only bought myself a copy. I just pulled up the accession list and it's not there. Perhaps Michael Oard has copies himself. I initially was put in touch with him through an email to AiG with a question about geology in the region. They had him answer my question. Maybe they could connect you with him. Authors usually have a stock of their books...especially if it didn't sell well. It would probably thrill his heart to have someone request a copy.
I know right where Big Bear Motel is. You will be on the very Western edge of Cody right on the highway that goes to Yellowstone. Wapiti Valley Church is about 18 miles west on the way to Yellowstone. It's a log building, the only church in the valley. Once you pass the steak house, school and post office in Wapiti you'll be pointing directly at the church on the curve of the road. Lots of tourists stop in for church during the summer, even on Wednesday nights. If you should visit, tell them Kate says Hi!
