Longtime supporter/leader of Creation Ministry at St. Paul's
Do you homeschool or send your children to a private Christian school?
No
Do you have your own blog, website, or ministry? If so, please share it with us.
No
Are you a student/teacher/professor? High School or College?
No. College Grad/
Do you believe in the literal translation of Genesis?
Yes. I believe in six-day supernatural, divine creation. I believe the author was inspired by the Holy Spirit to communicate God's truth to all, using normal language. Hence, I reject all efforts to allegorize the creation narrative, or to add millions of years. The narrative was meant to be read normally, not figuratively, as attested to in the rest of Scripture, e.g. Exodus 20:11.

Lifelong conservative Lutheran. Resisted indoctrination in evolution during college. One fine day heard Creation Moments broadcast, Realized I was not being fed at my church to uphold doctrine of ex nihilo Creation, or to refute evolution. Contacted Bible-Science Association, subscribed to newsletter, which led me to other creation ministries. Met Ken Ham at seminar in Rockville, MD, in early 1990's Bought a stack of books, videos, and we were on our way to 25+ years of study and leadership. Led adult ed classes at church. Met Dr. Menton at another AiG seminar. Charter members of Creation Ministry in Kentucky. Have a number of friends/colleagues in the ministry, including Creation Moments, Lutheran Science Institute (WELS). Currently members of St. Paul's Lutheran LCMS, in MD.
Striving to set up Creation Apologetics ministry at home church. It is a lonely calling. Much apathy to overcome. . .
