The Genome

It has been a while since they've claimed to have mapped out the human genome, but really haven't heard anything new about it for a long time.Has anyone come across anything interesting about the…Continue

Precision Cut Pyramids

It is hard to imagine exactly what  the world was like, after the Flood. It is even harder to imagine how sedimentary rocks slowly, lithofied, into what they are today. Metamorphic rocks are…Continue

The Rainbow

I have always been curious about what changed, during the Flood, to make a rainbow a new phenomena, after the Flood. Is it possible that the loss of the canopy, changed the way light hits the…Continue

Richard K replied to Glenn Graham's discussion '"You shall not surely die"[Gen3:4]; Liar! - 'Abraham offered Ishmael'[koran]; Ditto?'
My guess is that, the next time Jerusalem is surrounded by her enemies that God intervenes. I could be wrong about this next time, but eventually it will happen.

Allah, is the Babylonian moon-god. The koran was written by a child molestor, who was as much a story-teller as Joseph Smith. What was the 'riddle' part of your post, supposed to mean?

Pseudo-intellectualism can only gain credibility through intimidation. The more they get pushed into a logical corner, they leave rational thought, and resort to brutish behavior. There is no ability for them to clear minded about their blind…

Richard K replied to Justin Mooney's discussion 'In your opinion, what are the toughest apologetic challenges to the Christian faith?'
The point of that statement of mine, (which was a fabrication presented as a possible fact) was to demonstrate the reason why, God must be Judgemental in order to be Loving. We are the ones who can't love Justice nor understand Mercy. Yet we…

Leonie, tell her: A kind and loving judge in Florida let a serial child rapist go free, because he didn't want to appear judgemental in the eyes of the agnostic catholics.  Mercy without Judgement is foolishness.  :)

Leonie Here again, God doesn't need our approval on how we FEEL about Him. We are either too prideful to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth or we allow Him to set us free from slavery to the flesh.

Here again I forgot to separate out my comments from the previous comments I replied to. This website format really shortens my participation because of losing interest, by the time I wade through all the previous and current writings. I never wade…

Richard K replied to Pastoral Musings's discussion 'Vegetation Post-Flood'
ThanksI was responding to the idea that the olive branch may have survived the flood. I believe every tree and bush on the planet was uprooted and either buried or was transported along until it was buried. And buried a long way down, for exa. even…

Richard K replied to Justin Mooney's discussion 'In your opinion, what are the toughest apologetic challenges to the Christian faith?'
What does the Bible tell us about God's Character and Nature, in relation to the Creation? The typical expression of a loving god is a man-made idol to make us feel better about our perverted view of Agape, Justice, Mercy, and Rebellion. It is…

Richard K replied to Pastoral Musings's discussion 'Vegetation Post-Flood'
I would not go with the idea that the olive tree was translanted or sheared off at the base. We need to get a realistic picture of multiple coal seams, fossils and sedimentary layers too deep in the crust for anything to survive. 9 months of…

Richard K replied to Darlene & Larry Klosterman's discussion 'Do Pastors really want help defending their faith from a Creation Scientist?'
I too am greatly encouraged to see it happen. When I was growing up 'Creation' was the odd man out and no one would address it. The secular system trained my mind for almost 40 years. Now of course that training has evolved into…

I think the toughest hurdle in discussing anything with anyone is , Pride, or more generally, Emotional Attitudes. I find that most people do not want to be required to 'think', but rather 'feel' truth and error.

I know what the Grandkids want, most of the time, when they are hanging around our place. I could tell them "yes" or "no", about a lot of things I percieve going through their little heads, before they ever focussed their…

Hi Richard,
I also do a lot of landscaping work both around my home (lotsa Hostas ("genes designed by God himself") and also at our church-Bethel Baptist -in Green Bay.
How many acres do you farm? Milk cows or beef? Organic?
What has been the C/E activity in your area?
Have you been to the AIG Creation Museum? Our church has a coach bus that we do 3 day Museum trips with, once or twice a year. Our next one is Oct 28-30, leaving from Bethel on Thurs and back on Sat. $35 for the bus ticket, discounted group rate tickets, and a great motel one exit from the museum for $110 (total for the 2 nights) If anyone you know hasnt been there, this is the least expensive way to see it.
