Tamara Van Hooser replied to Jack Sparrow's discussion 'Do all non-believers deserve to spend eternity in HELL?'
"I have heard it suggested that the real torment of hell is not necessarily the heat, as many have asserted, but etermal separation from God...and being able to finally see (like the rich man in the parable who asks Abraham for some water), that yes,…"

Tamara Van Hooser replied to Jeremiah Stiles's discussion 'Genealogies: do they show the age of the earth?' in the group Young Earth Creationists
"Well, if it says Bill had a son when he was 35 years old and named him John and lived another 50 years after the birth of John and then he died, then it is a matter of simple math to figure out that (a) Bill lived to be 85 years old (b) John was 50…"

":o) Preach it brother!! My dad is in a Revelations Sunday School class right now and sent out this article last month...doesn't seem to be a link to a web page so I will just paste the text here: A close look at hell can make us more godly and…"

"That will be cool...especially finally understanding GOD'S perspective on things!! I remember my dad once when I was a teenager telling us his tongue in cheek theory about all those unanswerable questions we have to ask God when we get there.…"

Tamara Van Hooser replied to Brian Guiley's discussion 'What will it be like in Heaven?'

Tamara Van Hooser replied to Brian Guiley's discussion 'What will it be like in Heaven?'
"I don't think that's so crazy....maybe because I have a similar attitude. Whenever there is a large scale natural or unnatural disaster or tragedy and all these people are running around with sudden thoughts of the frailty of their own…"

Tamara Van Hooser replied to Jack Sparrow's discussion 'Do all non-believers deserve to spend eternity in HELL?'
"I think the question centers around the word "deserve". Human beings have all kinds of man-made notions about what we think we "deserve" based on man-made standards of goodness. The Truth is according to Scripture all we deserve…"

I tend to keep things simple. In the beginning God...therefore, anything else is possible. And as Dr. Hovind says on his video, I CHOOSE to believe that the Bible is true unless proven otherwise...and amazingly enough God is a really accurate author. If there is something vague or difficult to understand or an apparent contradiction, I automatically assume the fault is in my own understanding and lack of information or failure to see the metaphor or connections, NOT in the character of God or the accuracy of Scriptural record. It may seem overly simple and naive to some, but, I actually believe the old maxim: God said it, I believe it, that settles it.
