Why Is Televangelist Benny Hinn promoting the Archko Volume Fraud?

Does Benny Hinn realize the book he has "read and re-read over the years" and is offering to his viewers is a work of fraud?

Benny Hinn claims to be a man of God, anointed by the Spirit to such an extent that supernatural healings and powerful manifestations of the…

Spurgeon Morning Devotion - By His Stripes We are Healed

With his stripes we are healed. {Isaiah 53:5}

Pilate delivered our Lord to the lictors to be scourged. The Roman scourge was a most dreadful instrument of torture. It was  made of the sinews of oxen, and sharp bones were intertwisted every here and there among the sinews; so that every time the lash came down these pieces of bone inflicted fearful…

Jurassic Myth: Redefining Dinosaurs & the Bible

Dinosaurs have long been a staple image for evolution and an Old-Earth. Evolutionists are still shaping their models for these “terrible lizards” and how they went extinct “millions of years ago”. Children are particularly keen on these particular reptiles, and Hollywood has captured grown ups’ hearts with big budget films like Jurassic Park. For Christians, dinosaurs seem to present an interesting dilemma: How do dinosaurs “fit” into Scripture? Obviously, this problem differs… Continue

Bankruptcy of Our Nation by Jerry Robinson

Bankruptcy of Our Nation by Jerry Robinson

Even though this book was published in 2009, I believe it is still very “timely”. I found most of it to be very enlightening. Quite a bit of the information this book contained was new to me, but there was enough in it that I knew to be true beforehand, that made me believe it (as well as the well-documented footnotes).

If you are interested in learning the true financial state of the United States then this book is for you. Find… Continue

Dragons: Legends and Lore of Dinosaurs...

I have long been fascinated with dragons and fantasy ~ magical things and places of mythical lore. As a child, I would read about them and imagine what they were like. I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to use and review this book “Dragons: Legends and Lore of Dinosaurs” with my children. I wanted to share the mystery and fantasy of these creatures with my kids, but from a biblical…

Lies, and Different Lies

I am probably preaching to the choir here--more like preaching to myself--but I felt led to post this.

I have not tried to hide the fact that I love to watch wildlife programs on television, most of which come from a highly evolutionary perspective.  Almost every show mentions evolution or millions of years.  I reckon I'm so used to this that it no longer bothers me.

Well, a new trend (okay, there's nothing new under the sun) seems to be including local culture in…

Creation as a Presupposition of Christian Ethics

As many have pointed out, a Biblical doctrine of creation is vital to Biblical ethics. God is the Creator, and He sets the rules by which His creation must abide and laws by which man should live. Our first father, Adam, disobeyed God’s law and the human race fell along with him. Therefore, we cannot meet God’s righteous standards. We need the salvation offered in the Gospel to have communion with the One who made us. The saved Christian then desires to walk in God’s ways and makes the law…

Natural Selection; Creationism vs. Evolution

So in natural selection, there are four steps.

1. Variation

2. Overproduction

3. Adaptation

4. Descent with modification

So as creationists, we believe in natural selection in a way that species change among their kind, but do not evolve into other species. Right?

Also as creationists, we believe that the fossils that what evolutionists claim are transitional fossils ("missing links") are just variations right?

Is…

The Global Flood

The event known as “Noah’s Flood” in Genesis 6 is one of the most mocked passages throughout academia. Even some Christian theologians have reduced the account to mere allegory or poetical gibberish. Secularists laugh at the notion of a flood that would cover the whole earth, and some Christians have made a number of well-intentioned arguments to try and reconcile the infallibility of Scripture while maintaining the status-quo of evolutionary geology. Did a global flood really…

The Year of Taking the Bible Seriously: Biblical Creation versus extraBiblical Creation

A few months back (tempus fugit!), I was surprised to find that a number of visitors seemed to be coming from a particular website. I’ve met Joel Watts on several occasions and he’s a likeable fellow by anyone’s standards. That’s not to say we see eye-to-eye on everything. He doesn’t care for Ken Ham and he thinks Young Earth Creationism is completely whack. Nobody’s…

The Contradictory Nature of atheist Dr Michael Zimmerman's pro-evolution Clergy Letter Project

Creation Presentation at a Public School

I am a freshman in a Public Highschool, and my Biology class is studying evolution. I am thinking to ask my Biology teacher if I could do a 5-10 minute presentation on Creationism, and why Christians don't believe in evolution.

I am thinking to mention that science is built up on theories on things in our world, and how the difference between the science in the Bible and the science in science in an atheist view is different because of faith. I will also mention that there…
