Natural Disasters and God

Right now, here in Texas, we are having the most rain we have had in decades. The Bastrop State Park Dam failed, downtown Austin is in standing water, Houston is underwater, and several lives have been lost. We are not the only ones in a disaster situation, both Oklahoma and Mexico are also having heavy flooding. These events bring up two key issues that are related to Creation: 1. Why would a loving and benevolent God allow bad things, such as these floods, to happen? 2. The need…

Spiritual Need Without God?

Today I read an article from the New York Times by David Brooks titled "Building Spiritual Capital". This article talked about the need for spiritual development in children. The Article said "spiritual awareness is innate and that it is an important component in human development. An implication of her work is that if you care about social mobility, graduation rates, resilience, achievement and family formation,…

Where to Place Your Router to Find the Best Possible House Wifi

Everybody knows that Wifi signal strength starts to wane the further away from your router you’re using your notebook. The severity is determined by many things: your supplier provide lots of stuff, your house’s building, your router.

Faith shattered again

I decided to rewatch the Ken Ham -Bill Nye Debate last night. This is a screenshot (sorry for the fuzzyness of the image) of the debate when Ham is talking about dog evolution. Check out the chart presented by Ham:…

For a person who is struggling to lose weight, you know how important it is to find the proper way to move in this particular case. People are actually going into diets, they are starting exercising on a daily basis, however that does not necessarily mean that they are able to lose all that extra weight. You see, unfortunately, losing weight is actually really, really hard for so many people out there. And if you're not finding it easy to lose that extra weight today then you might want to…

Misleading Or exposed problems?

This will be controversial and I'm open to discussion about this. In an article about the Grand Canyon, Snellings trys to prove that all radiometric dating is flawed but only ends up proving that he deliberately used bad methods.

for those interested here's why what Snellings did  was wrong:

and here's the…
