Books by Dr. Steve Kern

Hi, this is Steve Kern, pastor of Olivet Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. I have a book titled NO Other Gods listed on Amazon. It was the last book Henry Morris wrote a foreward for before he went to be with the Lord. It is the product of 20 years of study and teaching creationism in colleges and church seminars. It is an apologetic of the first 11 chapters of Genesis. It is about 5 years old now. I also have a trilogy of adventure novels written about a man seeking the truth before the…

A Baptist Pastor Blasts Inerrancy - And I Demonstrate Why This Is A Bad Idea!

On June 24, 2010, Associated Baptist Press reported on a sermon delivered on the same day by Dr. Wm. Richard Kremer to Garden Lakes Baptist Church in Rome, GA, entitled, Is the Bible Inerrant?

Dr. Kremer's sermon begins with the following claim, which I find utterly baseless for reasons I shall relate…

Review: Prophecy of the Heir by JC Lamont [Crimson Moon Press] 2012

JC Lamont's Prophecy of the Heiris an ambitious and daringly imaginative fantasy retelling the Bible's history from the Creation of our universe to the birth of Christ Himself, as seen through the eyes of angels, both faithful and fallen. Her novel combines the spiritual warfare and intrigue of CS Lewis or Frank Peretti with heroic action and adventure pulled from…

Review: The Peleg Chronicles - Book 1: Foundlings by Matthew Christian Harding [Zoe & Sozo Publishing] 2009

Foundlings, book one of Matthew Christian Harding’s Peleg Chroniclesis set some time in the post-Flood world in a story that pits the followers of the God of Noah against the Cult of the Dragon.

Harding’s writing reminds me of Beowulf, Tolkein or [to a lesser degree] Hickman and Weis’ secular Dragonlance Chronicles. The back cover promises…

Evolution Impossible: A Book In Review

When examining the testimony of an expert, juries are often informed by the courts to consider the testimony of the expert and give it the weight they think it should have, the value of the testimony being for them to determine.  Juries are not required to surrender their own judgment to that of any person testifying as an expert or otherwise.

I wish our science teachers were required to instruct us of the same when teaching us about the “fact” of evolution.  As young…

4 Days to a Forever Marriage

There are a lot of really good tips contained in this book! They even did not leave out mentioning what I consider to be the most important points (more on this below).

I did not feel the title was accurate. I do not think it will take only four days to get a better marriage. Granted, they set it up as a four day study, so, yes, you learn the information in four days…but four days to a forever marriage—I think not.

Since the tips contained within this…

Review: Evolution Impossible: 12 Reasons Why Evolution Cannot Explain the Origin of Life on Earth by Dr John F Ashton, Master Books (2012)

The back cover of John Ashton’s Evolution Impossible makes the claim that his book is “one of the most compelling and authoritative rebuttals of evolution today!” It is a very strong book, filled with numerous examples of evidence against the premises of evolutionary theory.

The subtitle of the book states that the book promises to give us 12 reasons why…

Crypto-Zoo-Archaeological Mysteries Challenge Conventional Histories. The Ceratopsian Dinosaur and the Elephant in Ancient South America?

by Chris Parker, Copy Right 2012

Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength it has in its loins, what power in the muscles of its belly! Its tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of its thighs are close-knit. Its bones…

Book Review: 'Evolution Impossible' by Dr. John F. Ashton

The theory of evolution has been around for less than 300 years.  Belief in divine creation has existed since the creation of man.  Current secular scientists would have us believe that there is not, nor has there ever been, any serious doubt about concerning the veracity of their claims.

The new book, Evolution Impossible, tackles the theory of evolution head on and delivers some very helpful, and encouraging, insight into the truth about what the science really…
