Ugh a friend of mine believes the the Tigris and Euphrates are the same ones described in Genesis! However that can't be true for Noah's flood wiped it out. And bye bye Garden of Eden that why we can't find the Garden of Eden. The Tigris and Euphrates of today were named after the original Euphrates and Tigris, that aren't here with us any more.

What are Your thoughts? Where is the Garden of Eden, or what happened to it. If the Tigris and Euphrates are the "original" rivers what happened to the Pishon Gihon rivers?

Well, first the location that the Garden of Eden was in wouldn't exist today, because the Flood would have drastically altered the landscape. And, I believe that the rivers that are today called Tigris and Euphrates are called the same name as the pre-flood ones for the same reason there is a Glasgow in Montana. Because Noah's family coming off the flood would have named the rivers after something they were familiar with
Would you agree?
