The following are some thoughts about Already Compromised and Rev. Breeden’s review:
Hebrews 11:1-3 (NIV) Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
These verses in Hebrews are the focal point of what today’s body of believer’s does not understand. The issue: spiritual reality is not seen with our physical naked eye. What we see with our physical naked eye has become the foundation of all that the church, and ergo our educational facilities, teach and emphasize. Spiritual discernment has become passé that is out-dated and outmoded. What kind of course do you construct and grade that imparts spiritual discernment? This is the key failure of our educational institutions today.
Because of this, the religion and theology departments of many institutions focus upon the “seen” and not on the “unseen.” This arena is backdrop for what Ken Ham & Greg Hall unearthed in their grading of institutions that train our pastors and teachers. If this trend continues, the church of tomorrow will be frail and sickly. The younger generations of today will continue to fall away and/or become compromised in their belief. This condition must be turned around if the church is to survive!
