Just wanted to share that the scientist who oversaw the navigation system for the New Horizons spacecraft to Pluto is retired from the Space Dept. at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab by Baltimore and is himself a Christian who is a young earth Genesis creationist. He is also an Elder at the small Bible church I have been pastoring in Maryland for over 22 years. Praise be to the Lord.

Thank you, Derek. Very encouraging to hear from you. It's quite amazing what is being discovered in space these days. It is sad what the "new" science continues to try to do with it. But all praise to God our Creator who holds all things together through His Living Word and by His Son, Jesus.

It's good to hear that Steve, but I would guess that he needs a supportive church behind him.  I did a similar job here in the UK back in the late sixties to early eighties developing guidance systems for missiles and some work for NASA under contract.  I took a lot of stick from the people I worked with as I became a creationist from around 1975. Praise God that Jesus is still represented in the space industry.
