Wildlife Wednesday - Cone/Comb Jellies

The WW link up is open - go hereto add your pictures or posts of nature & wildlife & we will Pin it to the Master Books Wildlife Wednesday Pinterest board.

All my life I've called these gelatinous creatures "cone jellies", turns out - I was wrong! They are "comb jellies".

They don't sting like jelly fish, but do resemble them and are related. These little blobs of fun are predators who have both male and female reproductive organs. Read about them from a creationist point of view here and get all the details.

Our friend Lisa took a trip to the beach with her 4Kiddos - and you can read all about that here.

Thanks for joining us - and be sure to link up so we can share your nature and wildlife adventures in God's wonderful creation!
